Victoria has worked at HFRC as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist since 2001 after completing a Honours degree in Exercise Rehabilitation Science at The University of Western Australia. The majority of her clinical work involves exercise prescription for patients preparing for and recovering from joint replacement surgery. She is also involved in a number of research projects through the Perth Orthopaedic Institute assessing the short and long term outcomes of patients after total knee and total hip replacement surgery. For the last 10 years she has managed the pre-surgery education of patients undergoing hip replacement surgery, this entails imparting surgical information in lay-mans terms and the teaching of practical skills for optimal recovery in-hospital and as an out-patient.
Victoria is a well loved therapist who has been involved in the recovery of a huge number of HFRC patients over the last 15 years.
