Aaron graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science at The University of Western Australia then embarked on his PhD in Biomechanics centred around three-dimensional upper-limb motion analysis for cricket bowling and clinical applications. Through his involvement in industry Aaron has worked with athletes, clinical clients, and leading sports and exercise universities throughout the world. An increased interest in clinical populations led him to complete a post-graduate degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Murdoch University.

Aaron provides evidence-based exercise programs centred on optimising physical function to improve everyday activities and get his clients back doing what they enjoy. He values the importance of educating clients during treatment, believing the most important part is the client understanding why they are doing the exercise and how it will lead to improvement, empowering them to independently self-manage themselves in the future. Aaron has treated clients across a variety of conditions and with his biomechanics background has a particular interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, including pre-and post-surgery rehabilitation and chronic pain.

Outside of HFRC Aaron is also a lecturer in Biomechanics at UWA (School of Human Sciences), allowing him to integrate teaching, research, and clinical practice. You’ll often also find Aaron involved in his kid’s sporting activities, on his bikes, or with a floorball stick in his hands.
